When drinking Aussie ginger beer
Not all things are as they appear.
The bottle label does assert
"Before you open, please invert"
This seemed to me a tad unwise
Perhaps, however, no surprise.
In fact it made me rather wonder
If things are different here Down Under
For, when all is done and said,
An Aussie walks round on his head.
So why not then expect to see
Inverted forms of gravity?
Since I am always good as gold
I promptly did what I was told:
Inverted, opened and then found
The bottle's contents on the ground.
I did as I was told to do
The next step? Well, I think I'll sue!
